My work within the Queensland Specialist Weight Loss Centre is focussed on supporting an Endocrinology led weight loss program incorporating medication with lifestyle changes. Session Fees & Rebates

  • The fee is $250 per 50-minute session.
  • You are entitled to a rebate for up to ten individual sessions per calendar year if you have a current GP mental health treatment plan through the Better Access Initiative.
  • For further information about the “Better Access to Psychiatrists, Psychologists and General Practitioners” through the MBS (Better Access) initiative, please refer to this Fact Sheet for Patients. 
  • A concession fee may be considered for health care card and pension card holders in financial distress, or at clinician’s discretion, if asked.
  • Private health insurance – check with your provider for rebate information relevant to your insurance cover.
